2nd African Ministerial Conference on Tourism and Transport
Angola is preparing to host the 2nd Ministerial Conference of the United Nations World Tourism Organization and the International Civil Aviation Organization (UnCAI) on Tourism and Air Transport in Africa, a great event for the dynamization of both sectors on the continent.
The first edition was held in Cape Verde, in 2019, with the participation of more than 20 ministers, having expressed the desire to organize the next meeting.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting was postponed, and its realization is now possible.
At the press conference held on March 27, in Luanda, the Ministers of Tourism, Márcio Daniel, and Transport, Ricardo Viegas d'Abeu, highlighted the strategic importance of this event for Angola and the African continent, namely in economic and social terms.
The event, which will be held between July 22 and 24, will be attended by more than 30 African ministers and about 500 participants, including airline representatives, tour operators and international investors.
