Natural formations that resemble animals are a tourist attraction and show how nature can create incredible shapes.
In this case the natural formation of sand which, seen from the road to the top of the mountain, resembles a chameleon.
These type of formations are usually sculpted by the action of wind and water over thousands of years molding the sand and rocks in a way that creates this visual illusion.
There are many examples of natural formations that resemble animals or other figures.

The Lion's Rock -in Sri Lanka, which resembles a sitting lion.
